Mercer County Convention & Visitors Bureau Announces 2007 Photo Contest Winners
Mercer County CVB (Executive Director, Peggy Mazyck) is pleased to announce the winners of the agency’s 2007 Photo Contest. This is the second year for this contest and the agency is pleased with the quality and diversity of the photos submitted. Amateur photographers were invited to send photos to help us promote beautiful Mercer County and the response was great.
First Place went to Dave Hoye for his picture “Fascinating Lines” which depicts a fascinating shot of a Sharon Railway. Cheriee Dibler won second place for her photo “Shenango Dam”. Third place went to Tim Stainbrook for “Sun Flower Days” at Pew Flatts-Lengyl’s Farm.
Honorable mentions were received by Kimberly Curry for her photo “Exploring the Shenango”, Dave Hoye for his photo“School House Sunset”, and Patti Aquino, for her photo “ Reflection”.
Judges for the contest were George Gerhart, Executive Director of the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce; Jason Kapusta, photographer for the Sharon Herald and Carmen Aiello, Sales and Marketing Coordinator for Mercer County CVB.
