Visitors are encouraged to pet and feed the over 200 animals on display. A picnic area, snack bar, gift shop and western town are also available. However the pony and train rides along with the petting zoo are by far the favorites.

In 2008, Waldameer introduced the Ravine Flyer II, the largest wooden coaster built in the U.S. that year! Also in 2008 the coaster was named "Best New Ride in the World" by Amusement Today.  More exciting thrills await you with the Mega Disk'O.  This new thrill ride spins as it travels back and forth on a U-Shaped track soaring to 50' on each end, delivering unbelievable weightless and G-forse sensations.  Waldameer is a family amusement and water park featuring over 75 rides, slides and attractions including Kiddieland and Tad Pool areas for the little ones.

NOW OPEN...a new temporary showroom for Wendell August.  Due to a fire at their original location Wendell August moved next to Slovak Folk Crafts at 1605 South Center Street, Grove City PA.  Visitors will find a large selection of metal giftware in aluminum, bronze, pewter and precious metals.  Wendell August also has a second Mercer County location at Grove City Premium Outlets.
